How do I book a session?

Use my Contact Me page to send me a message and we’ll take it from there.

When are you available?

Furry Photo is open for business on weekends and holidays only.

Where are you located?

Our studio is in south Vancouver near the Arthur Laing Bridge.

Is there parking nearby?

There’s plenty of free street parking.

Can I get there on transit?

You bet! We’re on the 10, 100, and 480 bus routes; two of which connect to the Marine Gateway Canada Line Skytrain station.

What kind of animals do you photograph?

Any! Dogs and cats are the most common subjects, of course, but we’d love to meet your lizard, sugar glider, guinea pig, ferret, bird, snake, hedgehog… you get the idea.

Do you photograph people?

The Furry Photo specialty is pets but if you’d like a couple of photos with your animal bestie while you’re here, I can certainly understand that! If you’re seeking a session with your kids or family though, I’m not the photographer for you.

What should I expect?

The Furry Photo studio is in one half of our living room in a flea-free, well-maintained, clean condo. Buzz our suite and I’ll come downstairs to greet you. You’ll be welcomed into our home where you can relax on the love seat, have a glass of water, and observe the action. If needed, you may be asked to stand behind my shoulder to help engage your pet’s attention so be prepared to get in on the fun!

Can I bring a friend or family member?

The Furry Photo studio is small and fewer distractions for your pet will mean a greater chance of success. Let’s chat more about who you’d like to bring when you book a session.

What gear do you use?

My set up is a combination of Canon camera gear and backdrop paper from Broadway Camera and lighting gear from Strobist.com.

Do you do outdoor shoots?

Not at this time but I’m happy to refer you to a couple of pet photographers that do.
